Do you have an outdoor-loving kid who likes to explore nature in new places? If so, stop by a welcome kiosk at any of the JDCFs public preserves and pick up our new Preserve Passport!

The whole family can explore nature in Jo Daviess County and become an Illinois Driftless Adventurer with JDCF’s Preserve Passport. This new activity booklet is a fun guide to discovering all eight preserves that JDCF protects and cares for in our area. As you visit each site, complete the activity and use the sign at the kiosk to make a pencil rubbing on the inside of the back cover. When all eight pencil rubbings are completed, cut off the back page, which is also a postcard, and mail it to JDCF. Then watch your mail for next steps in your Illinois Driftless Adventurer journey. Geared towards kids ages 5 and up.
