Tree ID Workshop

Join Ken Beach with the Northwest Illinois Forestry Association and Master Naturalist Pam Johnson for an immersive workshop on recognizing tree species in Northwest Illinois. The first half of this three hour workshop will take place in the outdoor classroom at Schurmeier Teaching Forest, where instructors will go over characteristics of local tree species with hands-on examples. This will be followed by a walk through the woods to identify trees together. Free and RSVPs not needed.  The workshop is weather dependent so check back here for updates.
