Galena Library & JDCF Co-host “Plant a Seed, Read”

We are happy to be a part of the Galena Public Library in their “Plant a Seed, Read” summer program and to host a plant identification and nature exploration hike out at Horseshoe Mound Preserve. Bring the family and join Shawn Deisinger, JDCF Environmental Education Coordinator, to learn about the local native plants in Jo Daviess County and their importance to the health of our local wildlife and ecosystems followed by an exploratory hike with a scavenger hunt for the kids.
