Open House at Mąą Pįį Preserve/Historic Hess House

June 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

As part of our ongoing Inspiring You to Preserve Our Future fundraising campaign, JDCF invites you and your family to come and learn more about our conservation work, education programs, and ongoing priorities during this open house/fundraising event. Chloris Lowe Jr, twice elected leader of the Ho-Chunk Nation and JDCF Tribal Liaison will join Hillary Holt, JDCF Director of Education, to speak about the cultural and educational hub that is being created at the preserve, as well as the significance of the Native American heritage found there. Tours of the 1885 Hess house and its grounds will be offered.

You will also have a chance to meet our new CEO/President, Nathan Aaberg, prior to his start date and thank Steve Barg, current executive director, for his 13 years of service as he heads into retirement. Please RSVP to info@jdcf.org or 815-858-9100.

Inspiring You to Preserve Our Future is a fundraising campaign to benefit people, nature, and wildlife in Jo Daviess County through support of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation.
