100th Anniversary Celebration of the Upper Miss National Wildlife & Fish Refuge

Meet the staff and stewards of the Savanna District of the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife & Fish Refuge at the Ingersoll Wetlands Learning Center in Thompson, IL.  The Savannah district office manages Refuge wetlands bordering Jo Daviess County.  At a free anniversary celebration for all ages, meet the staff and stewards and learn about tours and activities they sponsor throughout the year.  At this event, adults and kids will enjoy informational talks, live fish demos, a casting contest, flora walks, iNaturalist and Merlin tutorials, face painting, exhibits from local conservation partners, and more.
