DESCRIPTION:JDCF invites you to a free birding walk on Friday\, May 12 beginning at 9AM at our newly acquired property adjacent to Wards Grove Nature Preserve in Stockton\, IL. JDCF Director of Special Projects and birding enthusiast\, Tom Clay\, will lead the walk as we look and listen for area sensitive bird species such as the Acadian flycatcher\, ovenbird\, American redstart\, scarlet tanager\, veery\, pileated woodpecker\, and black and white warbler. Bring your binoculars and sense of adventure! Free and RSVPs not needed. Parking for the event is adjacent to 13068 E Airport Rd\, Stockton\, IL. Look for JDCF event signs. \nThis event will take place rain or shine.
