DESCRIPTION:As part of our ongoing Inspiring You to Preserve Our Future fundraising campaign\, JDCF invites you and your family to come and learn more about our conservation work\, education programs\, and ongoing priorities during this open house/fundraising event.  Birding experts Tom Clay and Roberta Asher will talk about some of the rare and wonderous species you can see in the grasslands at Big Sky.  You will also have a chance to meet our new CEO/President\, Nathan Aaberg\, prior to his start date and thank Steve Barg\, current executive director\, for his 13 years of service as he heads into retirement. \nBring your binoculars and take in some birding on the 15 miles of trails available for hiking. Big Sky is truly is one of the most beautiful locations in Jo Daviess County and once you have seen it you will want to come back!
