Join JDCF stewardship staff on a tour of a wildlife restoration project 30 years in the making. We will see a 13-acre woodland (half before and half after restoration), a 7-acre restored savanna, an example of streambank restoration, and another section of stream where restoration is scheduled to begin this fall. Jake Pulfer, JDCF’s NISC Program Director, will join landowner Ted Jackson in guiding the tour. A representative of the USFWS may also join us as they have supported this work as well. Shay Bradbury, Soil Conservation Specialist from NRCS, has been assisting with the streambank restoration so will lead that portion of the tour.
