Birding on the Galena River Trail

JDCF’s Director of Special Projects and birding expert, Tom Clay, will lead a bird walk along the Galena River Trail to the Buehler Preserve. We will meet on the east side of the Meeker Street footbridge in downtown Galena. The walk will be around 1.5 miles roundtrip. This outing takes place during Fall migration and so we will be keeping our eyes out for birds traveling from farther north passing through on their way south. This event is free and open to the public. Please bring your own binoculars, drinking water, and dress in layers for the weather.  Subject to weather cancelation. Check back here for updates.
