JDCF & Galena Public Library Co-Host Earth Day Tribute

We teamed up with the Galena Public Library to co-host a Facebook Live reading of the children’s book, The Giving Tree, by author Shel Silverstein. The reading took place under a beautiful oak tree at Horseshoe Mound with JDCF Education & Outreach Manager, Jess Carryer, and Rachel Lenstra, Galena’s Youth Services Librarian.  You can listen in to this ever-relevant story of love and sacrifice here.
