Potluck & Program: Conservation Strategies as a Changing Climate Changes Woodlands

July 17 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Chicago Field Museum’s Senior Conservation Ecologist, Abigail Derby Lewis, will talk about ways that conservationists can help nature and people adapt to the climate changes already underway as well as about actions all of us can take in our own backyards.  If attending the potluck at 5:30, please bring a dish to pass and your own table service.  Wine and beer will be available for purchase.  This is not a BYOB event.  If attending just the talk, please arrive shortly before 7 pm.  This event is free to attend, everyone is invited, and RSVP’s are not required.  JDCF wishes to thank Apple River State Bank/First Community Bank of Galena for sponsoring this event and Galena Cellars for hosting it.
