JDCF Preserves to Remain Open – Over 700 Acres Await!

We at JDCF are taking the Covid-19 precautions very seriously.  We have cancelled our upcoming events and we are following CDC protocols to protect employees and their families.

But we do have something valuable to offer those feeling trapped indoors. We  invite you to practice social distancing while enjoying one of our nature preserves – all of which remain open to the public daily dawn to dusk. You will notice a few changes aimed at reminding people to not gather too closely such as picnic areas, port-potties, pavilions, and benches being roped off to prevent access. We will also be removing all brochures from the kiosks, as well as the Children’s Adventure booklets from Horseshoe Mound. However, the adventure is available online here.

Other than these small adjustments, JDCF preserves will remain open during the stay at home order to provide residents with much needed spaces to get out of the house safely and enjoy the multiple physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits that nature has to offer.  We thank all of you who have given this gift to the community through your support of JDCF’s mission. A gift that is appreciated right now more than ever.
